1. Reverse Engineering
and its Application in Modern Software Scenario and Implications
Abstract: This paper dwells into the concept of Software
Reengineering and its scope, demand and effectiveness in the contemporary
professional world. The authors give an introduction and analyses of the
present scenario of software trends followed in the industry and highlight
various suggestions and improvements to cut down costs and fasten the process
of Software development. The comparative study of various Reengineering tools
and their evolvement to suit the changing needs have also been highlighted. The
paper concludes with a prophetic look at the emergent technologies in this
field and paves path for the scope of further research.

2. The theory and
application of Biological Computing and design
of a Bio-Visual selecting system for the paralytic
Abstract: This paper deals with the basic meaning of Biological
computing and its nuances as well as dwells into its present application and
research. Recent Biological computers can use a single strand of DNA to fulfill
its fuel needs and can be programmed at the molecular level. It underlines the
future prospects of this unique dimension. The application towards a medical
approach is also studied. The authors discuss various issues for optimization
and realization of various innate possibilities hidden in its minuscule
attributes. The design of a Bio-visual selecting system built upon present
standards is suggested which would be of remarkable help to paralytics and
patients of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

3. The
Concept of Iris Identification in Biometric Security, the Present
Scenario, Constraints and Future
Abstract: This paper deals with Iris recognition procedures and
technology which associates the concepts of pattern identification and
analysis, computer visioning, statistical dependency and elements of optics and
photonics. It is a real time process. The algorithms help to confidently
identify the identity of a person by mathematically analyzing the variance and
randomness of the physical attributes of the iris surface. Presently employed
in various walks of life for identification purpose, this process is open
for further research. The authors try to dig deep into the underlying
principles and make suggestions about improving overall efficiency of the
process. The persistence of the iris as one of the identifying
parameters, leads to some constraints and difficulties which have been
underlined. The authors conclude by discussing the scope of further
enhancements, suggestions on standardization and try to peer into the next
generation of applications of iris recognition.

4. Design of Intelligent Websites with Searching and Indexing
Methodologies for Adaptive and Learning Databases
Abstract:
It is pertinent that the traffic to a particular website grossly depends upon its
ease of navigation. The users searching for data at a particular site would be greatly
facilitated if the site arranges itself dynamically in accordance to the users
preferences. The use of artificial
intelligence to make the site present its best picture to the user to help in
increased bandwidth and efficiency has long been a cherished desire of the
corporate world. Researchers have proposed virtual agents for suggestive feed
back and navigational intelligence to meet this requirement. Large databases
have also become painfully slow in serving a large customer base especially if
a large number of users are logged concurrently in peak usage. Artificial Intelligence
techniques and Pattern Analysis can help mitigating the problem to a much
higher degree. In this paper I highlight the design principles to achieve an
optimal suggestive website and an intelligent database retrieval mechanism to
make the process efficient and fast. I will take a software engineering
approach to meet my design goals.
